Sig Sauer manufactures some of the most popular modern polymer pistols in the United States, and the SP2022 was their original carry size polymer pistol. This semi-automatic 9mm handgun is hammer fired and can be fired double or single action. A decocker located on the left side of the frame allows you to decock the hammer, enabling that shot to be fired in double action. Every subsequent shot will have a single action pull unless the gun is decocked once again. The SP2022’s polymer frame is sturdy and robust, but also much more lightweight than comparably sized steel and aluminum frame pistols. A pair of SIGLITE night sights are easy to use in daylight, but in dark conditions the sights will glow, offering a serviceable sight picture in just about any light conditions. The frame mounted M1913 accessory rail allows the user to mount a laser unit or weapon-mounted-light. With a magazine capacity of 15 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition, the Sig Sauer SP2022 makes a fantastic pistol for home defense, duty, or concealed carry.
