Franklin Armory DFM AR 308 Fixed Magazine .308 Win/7.62 NATO 10 Rounds

Description

The DFM mag requires disassembly of the action to remove the magazine by tilting the upper receiver out of the way and removing the mag from the top of the lower receiver. Limiting tabs prevent the release of the magazine from the bottom of the lower through the mag well. It’s designed to be used with the mag catch which prevents the tabs from resting on the lower receiver.

Please Note:
Improper installation with the magazine positioned below the mag catch may cause the limiting tabs to mark your lower receiver. Additionally the feed lips will likely sit too low for the magazine to function properly.
Installation will require removing and reinstalling your existing bolt catch.
Franklin Armory also offers a modified bolt catch designed for easy installation of the DFM magazine. This is optional but highly recommended.
