The Franklin Armory DFM AR-15 fixed Magazine is specifically designed to bring your modern sporting rifle into compliance with state regulations. It converts your AR platform rifle to a fixed magazine design required by some more restrictive states.

The DFM mag requires disassembly of the action to remove the magazine by tilting the upper receiver out of the way and removing the mag from the top of the lower receiver. Limiting tabs prevent the release of the magazine from the bottom of the lower through the mag well. It is designed to be used with the mag catch which prevents the tabs from resting on the lower receiver.
